A platform is a system where MailXP keeps the mailboxes and related records such as contacts, calendars, tasks and so on. This is simply a virtual machine integrated to MailXP security cloud that holds everything about mailboxes and messages tied each account.
Your platform plan needs to be scaled accordingly. If your usage goes beyond the capacity of the platform it will be exhausted and response times gets higher and user experience will suffer. You can easily upgrade to the next platform plan or ask for additional capacity.
MailXP provides real-time usage in your admin panel. You’ll clearly see which parameters are beyond platform’s threshold and how much load your platform has.
Yes. User accounts with minimal activity like internal staff or field workers do not create load on your platform, they’re defined at our enterprise security cloud. They won’t create a load on platform since mailboxes are used infrequently.
Yes. Upgrading between plans is instant and seamless. You can scale from Basic to Starter without downtime or migration headaches and so for the other platform plans.
Outbound overages are billed in small daily increments without interrupting service availability
Each created domain includes 1,000 daily outbound emails by default. Additional outbound usage is billed when daily limits are exceeded. Internal messages between same domain email addresses won’t be counted against daily outbound quota only the messages to external emails. Calculations are based on each domain name separately.
Yes. Organizations with consistent outbound requirements can purchase discounted outbound expansion packs for each of their domains up to 10,000 messages daily capacity.
